SAMS Annual Picnic (PACK HIKE CANCELLED) (Saturday, September 19, 2026)

Come join us for a fun filled day of pack hiking and picnicking.

We will start with a five mile pack hike for those that are looking to exercise themselves and their dogs along with getting SCA working title points.

Then we will break at noon to have a potluck lunch. The club with provide proteins (hotdogs, hamburgers, etc.), buns, condiments and utensils. Please bring a dish to share.

Carting Clinic (Sunday, October 18, 2026)

Please come join us a Liz & Tom Hanly's for a fun day of learning how to cart with your dogs. Harnesses will be available to borrow. Experienced dogs will be joined with the novice dogs to help them along. There is a half mile loop on the property to learn the sport of carting. We will also be hosting a potluck. Please bring your favorite dish to share. Plenty of parking is available. We will start the carts next to the pole barn. Potluck will be in the house. Non-Samoyeds welcome also.
